About Roy Regev

Roy Regev is a music producer, electronic musician and soundscaper based in L.A, where he operates Sounding Board: an audio, media and production studio.


Regev collaborated with and produced for various musicians nationally and internationally. His sound adventures led him to the avant-garde collective of musicians We Are Ghosts that recorded site-specific albums in caves, festivals and Art Basel Miami. He created sound environments for exhibitions and various projects, including Outlet (Station923 Gallery, Ithaca, NY), and Jerusalem’s Indie Music Festival, Frontline, which he co-artistic directed.  is most recent collaboration is Lee & Roy, with producer and musician Lee Triffon.

In New York and Tel Aviv, he performed live with groundbreaking artists such as Petite Meller, Rotem Or (Totemo) and Tesha. His body of work includes indie projects, such as Monotalk, and electronic experiences, under his solo title, Mono27. In a weekly music column for the Israeli magazine Pnai Plus, Regev explored the inner realms of Israeli music for six years. Further deepening his commitment to the realms of culture, art and music, Regev also served as writer and editor for media outlets such as Maariv, Yedioth Aharonot, Haaretz and other lifestyle magazines.
